NC&STL's City Of Memphis streamliner #535 also known as "Marie" was backing into
Union Station on May 16, 1947. Contributed by Mike Condren.


NC&STL's City Of Memphis observation-lounge car #1103 with nice blue "wings" was sitting
on the track #8 at union station after 1950's. Contributed by John Arnold.

This is Tower 17 where it was controlled to the NC&STL trains at

This is an old concrete retaining wall of the former abutment bridge of
Memphis Union Station Yard. This view is East Carolina Avenue looking southwest.

These buildings are belonging to Memphis main postal service where Memphis Union Station was located. Coal chute, water tank, sand house, power house, engine house, depot, tower, platforms, signal bridges and yard are gone.
South Third Street at East Georgia Avenue looking northwest.
