Both rusty NC&STL MofW box cars parked on the short track siding in east of Leewood yard. NC&STL 18738 MW (XM).

NC 22524 MW (XM). "PS-1 boxcar no. 22524 was THE very last car to carry NC&StL reporting marks. It survived on CSXT until about the mid-1990s, and was acquired by the Tennessee Central Railway Museum in Nashville." Steve D. Johnson

1972 L&N Leewood Yard Right-of-way & Trackage Map is now available. It is 52-inch long by 36-inch length with scale 1 inch to 100 feet prepared by unknown which the .PDF byte size is about 331K. Send me email asking for a copy of the map.
