The former main line was on this gravel road all the way to Mercer through Sturdivant Crossing. This view is Mercer Hatchie Road/Hatchie Station Road looking northeast. Note the street sign on the stop sign read "Bill & Rubye Mullen". Interesting.

The former main line was on this gravel road to the closed gate at the beginning of old wooden trestle. This view is Mercer Hatchie Road/Hatchie Station Road looking southwest on Stafford Lane. I like to live in this area.

This is the long, high height and old wooden trestle crossing Big Hatchie River is still standing. This beginning of trestle is crossing the county line of Madison & Haywood. Look at the right photo where there is something about an half mile away.

Now you can see two silver spots (white arrow), therefore it is an existing iron truss railroad bridge. I used Canon 300mm zoom lens shot at it. I have no way to go near that bridge but I wish. You can see the rusty milepost on the right curb. I am unable to read it.

I taught my sons to learn what this sign means so they better stay out of trouble and avoid being injury. Of course, we believe in Jesus Christ our Lord.
